Through their experience of markets and their knowledge of the technological possibilities of neobanking, they have identified the unique need of for an entirely new form of banking – the Any Asset bank.

Thomas Labenbacher

is a C-level European banker with a winning track record in leading banks and advising banks worldwide.
He was Co-Founder and CEO of a number of Fidor Bank entities and developments. Prior to this he successfully applied for a European banking license for Western Union, and led the building of the Western Union Bank retail network across Europe.
From 2008-2013 he was part of the Executive Management Team of Raiffeisen Bank International, where he was responsible for Transaction Banking, having started his banking career with GE Capital.
He is Partner in the Life.SREDA Venture Capital Blockchain Fund. In addition he was named in the Top30 Fintech Influencers of 2017, and is a regular speaker at international Fintech and banking conferences around the world.
Selected Board Functions: Advisor to City of Blockchain Vienna and Chairmen of the Financial Services Club CEE.

Robert Böhm

spent eight years in Austrian politics, where he served in several positions. He ended up as Vice Chairman of the Austrian Institute of Technology, and Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Transport and Innovation.
During his time in politics he built a strong national and international relationship network covering Europe, Russia and CIS, as well as the Middle East.
After his political career he started his way in the world of business, where he founded and developed an international advisory company.
This also led him into banking, as he became co-owner of an Austrian Private Bank, where he successfully helped to extend the client-base, and was one of the drivers for refocusing the bank’s strategy.
Mr. Böhm has a Master’s Degree in Finance and International Management from the Vienna Business University.

Martin Melkowitsch

was COO/CTO at Raiffeisen Informatik and served previously as COO/CIO and Member of the Board for the subsidiaries of various impactful Austrian banks in the CEE arena.
Martin has extensive international experience and contacts at C-level in IT & Operations Management, especially within the financial sector.
He offers a holistic understanding of multiple disciplines, and is an energetic and cooperative leader with a strong banking IT background, and a solid P&L understanding.
Martin is an ambassador for digital transformation, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrencies.
Deploying his expertise in information technology, change management, transformation, and consolidation, he supports B52 in establishing highly efficient financial institutions, creating value for B52’s customers.

Byron Haynes

Byron Haynes, a British citizen, has over 25 years’ experience working in the financial services industry. Currently he is Chairman of the General and Supervisory Board of Novo Banco S.A., a bank based in Portugal.
Mr. Haynes started his career being trained and employed by KPMG in London, and qualified and registered as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.
From August 2008 to June 2017, Mr. Haynes was a member of the Managing Board of BAWAG P.S.K., a Retail and Corporate Bank headquartered in Vienna, Austria.
Initially Mr. Haynes was the CFO in the first year and then the CEO for the following 8 years. Prior to that he held several senior positions including Global Chief Financial Officer at ABN AMRO / Royal Bank of Scotland.
Mr. Haynes has a BA Hons Accountancy & Finance degree from a London University.

Mátyás Záborszky

Author, ICO Advisor

Mátyás Záborszky is the author of 6 Proven Steps to Attract ICO Investors, and has advised on the marketing of a number of successful ICOs, particularly in the Fintech arena.
Additionally he is a university lecturer and Fintech coach.
